Hearth is a wellbeing monitoring system provided by Hearth Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Hearth uses passive sensors to track activity patterns in the home. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Hearth is a subscription service comprising hardware (the Hearth Hub and sensors) and ongoing monitoring, alerting, and reporting capability delivered via the Hearth app and dashboard. We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care.
Hearth is not a replacement for professional care, medical monitoring, or emergency services. Hearth does not guarantee detection of all incidents, falls, or medical events. The system monitors activity patterns and alerts to deviations from routine - it does not directly detect medical emergencies.
If you have serious concerns about your parent's health or safety, contact their GP, call NHS 111, or call 999.
Payment terms and pricing are as displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. All prices include VAT where applicable.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of delivery during which you may return the hardware for a full refund.
Hardware return policy and refund terms for cancellations after the cooling-off period will be confirmed before launch.
Hearth is provided as a supplementary wellbeing tool. We do not accept liability for any loss, harm, or damage arising from missed alerts, system downtime, sensor malfunction, connectivity issues, or reliance on Hearth as a sole care or monitoring solution.
Our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the subscription fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
All content, software, designs, and branding associated with Hearth are the property of Hearth Systems Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Hearth materials without our written permission.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify all account holders by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
